Customer service over social networks is growing and on Tuesday Facebook launched a unified inbox that will help to coordinate customer interactions across Facebook, Instagram and Messenger. Social Media Today looked at how the updated Facebook Pages Manager will work to streamline the handling of comments, visitor posts and other messages. There is also a user centric view that could be the first step towards a nascent Facebook CRM system.

Google has announced “an important shift in our indexing with a move towards mobile-first indexing. Mimicking the majority of its users, Google will essentially crawl the web as a mobile device while collecting ranking signals. Search Engine Land published a FAQ along with 5 steps to optimize for mobile-first. Google has said that sites relying on responsive design or dynamic serving probably don't need to do anything right now.
